Pastor H. Ojetta Washington relocated to Washington, D.C. from Greenwood, South Carolina at a very early age.  At the leading of the Holy Spirit, she attended the National Evangelistic Center of Washington, D.C., later renamed Evangel Temple. 

 

During her tenure at Evangel Temple she met and married the late Bishop Alfred B. Washington.  Pastor Washington served in several capacities of ministry until Christ Temple Of Joy was founded in July 1979.

 

Pastor Washington was ordained Assistant Pastor in January 2007.  She ministers anointed music during our services and is an anointed Bible Teacher. 

 

With the passing of Bishop Alfred B. Washington in 2013, Pastor Washington now serves as Senior Pastor of Christ Temple Of Joy.

 

God is continuing to do great and mighty things in the midst of His people here at Christ Temple Of Joy where by we are glad!
